Don Johnson is the latest addition to the cast of Ryan Murphy’s upcoming ABC series “Dr. Odyssey.”
Variety has confirmed that Johnson will star in the series alongside previously announced lead Joshua Jackson. Plot and character details for the show are being kept under wraps, but sources say the series is believed to be a medical procedural. It is slated to premiere during the 2024-2025 broadcast season.
Murphy is co-writing the series with Jon Robin Baitz and Joe Baken. All three also serve as executive producers, as does Jackson. Murphy executive produces via Ryan Murphy Television.
Eric Paquette, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson, and Nissa Diederich also executive produce. Paris Barclay is attached to direct and executive produce. 20th Television is the studio, where Murphy is under an overall deal.
