Thomas Randolph Series ‘The Thing About Tommy’ Developing at Peacock
Peacock is developing a limited series about Thomas Randolph called “The Thing About Tommy,” sources tell Variety.
In April, Randolph was sentenced to at least sixty years in prison for the murder of his wife and the man he hired to kill her. This was not his first conviction or his first deceased wife; Randolph is known as Black Widower for having been married six times, with four of his wives ending up dead.
Bruce Marshall Romans is writing the true crime series, and executive produces alongside Jason Blum, Chris Dickie and Jeremy Gold for Blumhouse and Liz Cole for NBC News Studios.
The series comes after NBC’s 2022 limited series “The Thing About Pam,” which starred Renée Zellweger as Pam Hupp in a telling of her involvement in the murder of Betsy Faria in 2011.
Deadline was first to report on “The Thing About Tommy.”
